The Review
Every now and then, you come across a place that immediately feels different from the moment you walk through the door — and Warehouse Bar & Grill / Hangar 7 in Stockton is exactly that kind of venue.
From first impressions alone, this place stands out well beyond your average bar and grill. The venue itself is packed with character, offering quirky décor, unique features, and an atmosphere that instantly grabs your attention. There’s a real buzz throughout, plenty of space to enjoy yourself, and something new to catch your eye everywhere you turn. It’s the kind of place where the setting alone makes the visit worthwhile before the food even lands on the table.
But thankfully, the food more than lived up to the venue.
Starting with the Hot Chicken Wings, these delivered serious flavour with a proper kick, earning a strong 9.5/10. Packed with heat without overpowering the taste, they were cooked well and set the tone for what turned into a seriously impressive meal.
Then came the Mixed Grill… and this was where Warehouse Bar & Grill truly flexed. Scoring a flawless 10/10, this was an absolute beast of a plate — generous, packed with quality meats, and cooked spot on. Every element felt well executed, making it one of those dishes that instantly justifies the journey.
To finish, the Apple Crumble was nothing short of outstanding. Another easy 10/10, this dessert delivered comfort, flavour, and quality in every bite. Rich, satisfying, and easily one of the best apple crumbles in recent memory, it was the perfect ending to an already standout experience.
What makes Warehouse Bar & Grill / Hangar 7 especially memorable is how well the full package comes together. This isn’t just about food or atmosphere alone — it’s the combination of quirky surroundings, strong energy, big portions, and genuinely quality food that makes it feel like a destination rather than just another meal out.
For anyone willing to make the trip, this place is absolutely worth it. From Newcastle to Stockton, this is one of those venues you visit for the experience and return to for the food. If you’re after somewhere different, memorable, and packed with character, Warehouse Bar & Grill / Hangar 7 deserves a place on your must-visit list.
