If you're looking for one of the best food vans in Newcastle, Mean Cuisine Scran Van in Newburn is well worth a visit. I stopped by to try a selection of their food, and it definitely lived up to the reputation. 🥪 Hot Lamb Sarnie & Chips – 9/10 The lamb was tender, full of flavour and served in a soft bread roll with a generous portion of chips. Proper comfort food that hit the spot. 🌭 Sausage Sizzler Breakfast Bap – 8/10 A quality breakfast bap with well-cooked sausages and plenty of flavour. Simple but done really well. 🍰 Homemade Raspberry Cheesecake – 8.5/10 This was the surprise of the visit. Fresh, creamy and packed with raspberry flavour. Easily one of the best homemade cheesecakes I've had from a food van. ⭐ Overall Rating – 9/10 Mean Cuisine is more than just another burger van. The food is freshly cooked, the portions are generous, the prices are excellent and the customer service is first class.
