During my visit for Rated by Richie, one dish completely stole the show... ⭐ The Best Masala Fish in the North East? The Masala Fish was absolutely outstanding. Freshly cooked, beautifully seasoned and packed with flavour, every bite had the perfect balance of spices without overpowering the fish itself. Crispy on the outside, flaky in the middle and served with fresh salad, naan and chips, it's easily one of the best masala fish dishes I've had anywhere in the North East. If you're a fan of Pakistani or Indian street food, this is a must try. What Else Is On The Menu? Mumtaj Fast Food serves a huge range of freshly prepared favourites including: Masala Fish Fresh Pizzas Chicken & Lamb Kebabs Parmesans Burgers Chicken Curry Lamb Curry Fresh Naan Bread Wraps Chips & Loaded Fries Everything is cooked fresh to order and the portions offer excellent value for money. Atmosphere Although many customers order takeaway, there is also a clean seating area inside if you fancy eating in. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and service was quick throughout my visit. My Verdict If you're searching for authentic halal food in Newcastle or simply want to try what I genuinely believe is one of the best Masala Fish dishes in the North East, Mumtaj Fast Food should be on your list. The quality, flavour and value all impressed me, and I'll definitely be back.
