If you're searching for authentic Indian food, freshly baked naan kebabs and quality halal takeaway in Newcastle, Naan Stop in Cowgate is definitely worth a visit. I was invited along to try a selection of dishes, and from the moment we arrived, the customer service was first class. The staff were friendly, welcoming and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Chicken Naan Kebab One of the first dishes to arrive was the Chicken Naan Kebab, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Freshly baked naan packed with tender, flavourful chicken and served piping hot. Every bite was full of flavour. Kebab Naan The Kebab Naan was another standout dish. The seasoned kebab meat worked perfectly with the freshly baked naan, creating a filling meal that's ideal for lunch or dinner. Butter Chicken Curry with Garlic Naan This was one of my favourites of the evening. The butter chicken was rich, creamy and full of authentic flavour, while the fresh garlic naan was the perfect accompaniment for mopping up every last bit of sauce. Masala Fish This was my first time trying Masala Fish, and it definitely won't be my last. Beautifully seasoned, perfectly cooked and packed with flavour, it quickly became one of the highlights of the visit. Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza A unique twist on a pizza using a naan bread base. The chicken tikka masala topping was full of flavour and something a little different from the norm. Personally, I still prefer a traditional pizza base, but there's no denying the quality of the ingredients. Customer Service Great food is one thing, but excellent customer service makes all the difference. The team at Naan Stop were friendly from start to finish, making us feel welcome throughout the visit and ensuring everything was spot on.
